Hello Friends!
Thought I should take a moment to tell you the story of the album art for my upcoming release…
Initially, when I started creating this, I wanted the cross and the butterfly prominent to represent the two major themes: Jesus and Change. My first draft had a beige background, and felt like it was missing something personal. After listening to the recording, I realized it needed some color to bring it to LIFE! I looked through my photos for fall leaves, fall colors, etc, but everything in that vein seemed… lacking.
Eventually I came across a photo I had taken of some beautiful flowers my neighbor had given to me shortly after we moved to Tennessee: They were bright, vibrant, and very much ALIVE! Here is the original photo:
They visually represent the changes that have occurred in my life over the past two years: New state, new neighbors, new job, new church, new friends, new activities, new house, and new music… All because I decided to follow Jesus a long time ago! My life is radically different from what I expected it to be, and after experiencing such COLOR, I would never want to go back to a life that's beige!
