Greetings from Vancouver, British Columbia (CANADA)!!
What a wonderful month! I am blown away by God's goodness, and am overwhelmed by the powerful seeds God has planted in my heart recently. I attended 2 different writing retreats (Greenville, SC, and Nashville, TN), and took a two week road trip with my family out to Vancouver to visit friends and share music along the way! I shared original songs at a church in Batavia, IL, recorded a few videos for my channel with Christa Lee Leffers (and backing vocals for her upcoming release), Got to meet a dear friend from Trinidad and Tobago in person for the first time, and my family got to enjoy so many different parts of God's creation (Rainforests, Beaches, Hot Springs, Geysers, Canyons, and Mountains)… Too much to summarize in such a brief post! Don't worry, I plan to slowly share the beauty and lessons that God taught me on my social media in the coming year, and I look forward to all of the songs that will be birthed through this amazing experience.
In other exciting news, I just accepted a part-time position leading worship at a church in my local community! Even after all this travel, God has repeatedly reminded me of the importance of the local church, and I can't wait to see what will come of this collaboration.
I have many new songs that I can't wait to share with you, and I look forward to the ability to record and release them in the near future! Now, after I have seen God provide in so many abundant ways for this trip, I know that He will provide all that is needed to share His songs with the world.
